While Annie the Musical is no stranger to Broadway, its first ever HTML5 appearance in the digital world launches today with an immersive online environment that embarks users on a trip of education and discovery through old New York.

The Annie Education Website is part of WNET's high-reach, high-impact educational initiative focused on sharpening literacy skills and fostering a lifelong interest in the performing arts. teamed up with the PBS Station, WNET, and Arielle Tepper Madover Productions, one of Broadway’s pre-eminent producers, to give the 2012 revival of Annie the Musical an online presence and to support their exciting initiative. Targeting tablets and desktop computers, this compelling interactive HTML5 website enables kids to explore a virtual theater in order to learn about the musical, 1930s New York City, and the various roles and processes behind a major theatrical production.
